Thick satiny yarn in a wide range of bright colours. Alaska can be used to make comfortable hand knit poufs and knit or crochet cushions. Extraordinary yarn for making novel fluffy rugs using different techniques. Each ball weighs 100 grams and has 115 meters. This is a heavier weight yarn and we recommend using size 10 – 10.5 (U.S.)/(6-6.5 mm) knitting needles. 6 balls of yarn are required to make a size 12 woman’s long sleeve jumper. To make a 4x4” tension square work 12 sts and 16 rows. Machine washable up to 30ºC. Do not tumble dry.
